How to Style Floral Jeans for Winter

Gwin Gal Blog

One of my favorite outfits in the summer is my floral jeans. Obviously, by your comments, they are one of your favorites also.

SUMMER DATE NIGHT:

I wore a sleeveless flowy top, which is embellished with fabric flowers, partially tucked into the waist band of the jeans.Fashion over 50, Date night style, Midlife Date Night

SUMMER WORK DAY:

For work, which is an extremely casual office atmosphere, I chose a gray tank which is embellished with lace, and a purple printed summer scarf.

SUMMER NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN:

My faux leather sleeveless top makes this outfit sexy for a hot summer night in Birmingham.

Not everybody likes floral jeans, but I do.

I really need to find a better way to take outfit pictures, but I haven’t been able to figure that out yet. Forgive my dirty mirror, appliance cords, real life bathroom selfies.

But recently I started to wonder if floral jeans could be styled for winter too.

WINTER WORK DAY:

I first tried my purple pullover and it worked great to keep me warm at the office.

WINTER DATE NIGHT:

Then I saw my white fur vest from Stitch Fix and knew it would be perfect for date night! So I looked for a shirt to go with it and found this off white turtleneck. I love this look!

WINTER NIGHT ON THE TOWN:

I really like the floral jeans withΒ  my blush pink cut-out sleeve sweater and blush pink booties! I also wore my blush pink cross body bagΒ and felt very stylish as we walked the sidewalks of Birmingham.

Styling my floral jeans for winter turned out to be pretty easy! I had never worn them when it was cold before and I was very pleasantly surprised to be able to wear them year ’round.

What about you? Would you wear white floral jeans in the winter?

Nikki I can’t believe they look so great styled for winter. When I saw the title I thought no way can they be for winter. But you certainly proved me wrong. With style and grace!

You look cute as can be in your flowery jeans! They’re all good, but I like the Summer Work Day look the best. Thank you for sharing on Party in Your PJ’s. Also, I like your real life bathroom selfies! Pinned to my “Fashion for Women of a Certain Age” board.
