Fashion. You either love it or hate it. But for that group of us that actually LOVE fashion trends and trying new styles, I have put together this Gift Guide for Fashion Lovers. Now, granted, it is VERY hard to purchase clothes for someone else and honestly, it’s not a great idea. BUT… I have a solution that just might work for you …

Stitch Fix Subscription Box
Stitch Fix is an online styling service. After filling out a detailed style and size survey and ordering a “fix,” a personal stylist will select and send 5 articles of clothing to be tried and decided on in the comfort of your own home. I have been using this service for 3 years now and I love it. I love the surprise of what my stylist will send and the real amazement of finding out that something I never would have tried on my own, is actually quite flattering!
CASUAL:
It all starts with a detailed survey. You will enter your basic information like height & age, and sizes you usually wear in tops, pants, dresses, colors you like and dislike, clothing you dislike, accessories that do not interest you, and then, you will have sample outfits where you will say if you like or dislike them.
DRESSY:
Now. Even though you’ve done all the fun stuff, you will NOT receive a box until you schedule one. You can opt to receive one every month, every two months, every 2-3 weeks, or one at a time. If you choose to just schedule one box, you will not receive another until you go into your account and schedule another one. You are not obligated to any set number of “fixes.”
DATE NIGHT:
You will also be able to note your preferences of a romantic style, bohemian style, casual style, business style, preppy style and more! It will take a few fixes before your stylist gets to know you and what will and won’t work for you. Be patient. It’s a process.
To speed that process along, you can go into your account daily and complete several “thumbs up or thumbs down” categories of some of their exact items. Another way to help your stylist know about you is to create a Pinterest board and “pin” pictures of clothes that appeal to you.
I would be ecstatic to receive a paid subscription this holiday season.

Nikki, I am totally with you on the velvet love this year! It’s elegant but goes great with your favorite jeans too. 🙂
