Most of us are interesting in finding the perfect gift for our loved ones. We get tired of purchasing socks and ties. I have a tip for finding that out of the ordinary gift and I’d like to tell you about it.
Mr. Menace is one of the world’s hardest people to buy a gift for. He already owns every tool known to man, and 3 or 4 (or more) of most of them.
He doesn’t wear hats or caps.
He doesn’t follow sports teams.
He cares nothing about cars, as long as they run.
And his birthday is only a month before Christmas.
So where do you find a personal gift for someone like that?
Try looking in more unusual places.
Look for gifts of experiences.
So sometimes, I take him on a short trip. Once even to Vegas.
A couple of times to Philadelphia.
It was very interesting to find out how it all worked.
Some other ideas, are helicopter rides, or a flying lesson.
How about tickets to a comedy show, or a concert?
Hiking Adventure, Mountain climbing, or Wall climbing!
Our pilot buzzed the tree tops and Mr. Menace picked this leaf from inside the basket!
Painting Lessons, Piano lessons!
Books. I used a book to present my hot air balloon ride gift. I found a hot air balloon picture book and inserted the Groupon between the pages for him to find when flipping through the book on Christmas morning.
Movie passes or gift cards inserted into popcorn boxes.
Use your imagination! Keep your eyes and ears pealed for leads to new ideas.
